Steven Tiedt has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Steven started their career as a Tech at Computer Renaissance in 1992 and later became an IT Business Manager at Ameridata from 1993 to 1995. From 1994 to 1996, they worked in Information Systems at Dayton Hudson Corporation and then joined Target as an Information Systems Active Directory Specialist in 1995. Tiedt then worked at UnitedHealth Group, where they served as a Sr. Information Systems Architect from an unspecified start date until 2005. Additionally, at UnitedHealth Group, they held the role of Sr. Information Technology Architect from 1996 to 2009, managing SharePoint products and technology, IIS .NET applications, enterprise search, enterprise reporting, and Project Server. Steven also worked at Ingenix, a UnitedHealth Group company, as a Manager Information Systems from 2000 to 2005. Tiedt later joined IBM Global Services (CDI) in 2009, focusing on Active Directory design, structure, support, and LCM. Steven implemented WIN2K8 R2 Active Directory domain controllers during this time. Lastly, they joined TGen in 2012 as a SharePoint Architect, Developer, and Technical Lead, where they are currently employed.

Steven Tiedt completed their BA in Computer Information Systems from Clover Park Technical College between 1987 and 1989. Steven also obtained additional certifications in SharePoint 2010 from Microsoft, including Application Development (MCTS), Administrator (MCITP), and Configuration (MCTS).
