Raised in a tiny village in France, near the German border not unfamiliar with two world wars, Alexandre's desire for expanded international interaction and understanding grew at an early age. Fortunately, he was able to expand his perspective and interactions through sport, specifically soccer, very early on. His drive, skill and determination culminated in his achieving his bachelor's degree in science of sports and physical activities, as well as playing in an elite French soccer league, while pursuing his master's degree from the University of Nancy I. A few years later Alexandre was recruited to teach at TFS where he jumped at the occasion to move to an ethnically diverse city and teach in an innovative school. Alexandre led the West Campus' athletics and taught for more than 15 years before becoming more deeply involved in the Junior School's administration and contributing on a deeper level to TFS’ mission of staying avant-garde. He continues to champion internationally minded pupils by providing a strong foundation, encouraging a curious mind, rigour and compassionate behaviour inside and outside the classroom.
