Shannon Hines serves as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Washington Operations at Textron since February 2022. Prior to this role, Shannon held multiple leadership positions within the United States Senate, including Staff Director of the Senate Committee on Appropriations and Defense Appropriations Subcommittee from April 2018 to February 2022, and Staff Director for the Committee on Rules and Administration in late 2017. Earlier experience includes Deputy Staff Director and Senior Professional Staff Member within various Senate committees. Shannon's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from Wake Forest University.
