Joe DeVooght currently serves as Vice President of Legislative Affairs at Textron since September 2023. Previously, Joe held the position of Vice President of Congressional Affairs at Peraton, where a Congressional Affairs function was established within a company of over 17,000 employees and $7.0 billion in annual revenue. At Honeywell, Joe was the Senior Director for Aerospace, focusing on Government Relations for Honeywell Defense, and led Army programs and DoD Industrial Policy as Director of Government Relations. Joe's extensive experience in government includes a 16-year tenure with the U.S. House of Representatives, where positions ranged from Deputy Chief of Staff to various legislative roles. Earlier teaching experience includes a position as a Math and Science Teacher at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School. Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education from the University of Michigan.
