Pavithra Ramani is a Senior Advisor at Textile Exchange, leading the Deforestation-Free Call to Action for Leather program. Before that, Pavithra worked as Deputy Director at Proforest, focusing on responsible sourcing, and as a Senior Project Manager at the same company, specializing in sustainability. Prior to that, Pavithra gained experience in climate change research, project management, and conservation at organizations like The Climate Group, Conservation International, and USAID. Pavithra holds an MSc in Environment, Development, Conservation, Management from the University of Oxford and a BA in Economics and Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia.
