Hector Collazo has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Hector began their career at Myron Steves in 2001 as the Chief Underwriting Officer and held this position until 2017. In 2017, they joined Burns & Wilcox as the Vice President/Managing Director until 2023. Currently, they serve as the Sr. Vice President at Texas Security General Insurance Agency.

Hector Collazo attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 1977 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Information Systems and Accounting.
