Vivek Kalia, MD MPH MS, currently serves as the Medical Director of Radiology at Scottish Rite for Children, where the focus is on complex orthopedic cases and related disorders. Previously, Vivek held the position of Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Michigan Medical School and completed a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery. As Chief Resident in Diagnostic Radiology at The University of Vermont Medical Center, Vivek demonstrated leadership in residency academic matters. Early training included an Internal Medicine internship at LifeBridge Health, medical education at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and a Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with a concentration in Epidemiologic and Biostatistical Methods. Additional research experience includes a neuroscience project at The University of Tokyo. Academic qualifications comprise an MD, MPH, BA in Philosophy, and multiple degrees in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
