Ashley Merta is a Senior GIS Analyst at Texas Pacific Land Corporation (TPL) since November 2017, previously serving as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst. Prior experience includes roles as a GIS Data Editor at BNSF Railway and an IT Programmer Analyst - GIS Intern at the City of Fort Worth, where Ashley contributed to improving basemap data for enterprise GIS applications. Earlier experience includes a brief position at Citi and customer service roles at Hy-Vee, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Texas State University and a Master of Geoscience with a focus on GIST - Petroleum from Texas A&M University.
