Jeff Limmer has a strong background in medical physics, starting as a Physics Instructor at Concordia Lutheran High School in 1985. Jeff then transitioned to the healthcare sector, working as a Chief Medical Physicist at Aspirus from 1997 to 2011. Jeff later held the position of Director of Medical Physics and Quality at both US Oncology and McKesson from 2011 to 2016. Currently, they serve as the Regional Director of Medical Physics at Texas Oncology, bringing years of experience to their role.
Jeff Limmer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from Concordia University, Nebraska, which they obtained from 1981 to 1985. Jeff later pursued a Master of Education in Physics Education at Purdue University Fort Wayne from 1986 to 1990. Jeff continued their academic journey by earning a Master of Science degree in Medical Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1995 and 1997. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Diplomate of the ABR in Therapeutic Radiologic Physics from the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Medical Specialties, as well as a Licensed Medical Physicist from the Texas Board of Licensure for Professional Medical Physicists.
