Kristin Etter currently serves as the Director of Policy and Legal Services at the Texas Immigration Law Council since November 2023. Prior to this role, Kristin Etter worked as an Attorney and Special Project Director for Operation Lone Star at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid from August 2021 to November 2023. Kristin Etter's extensive legal career also includes nearly 18 years as an Attorney at Sumpter and Gonzalez, LLP, and experience as an Assistant Federal Public Defender from July 2001 to July 2003. Throughout this career, Kristin Etter represented hundreds of individuals facing serious federal charges along the Texas-Mexico border.
