Karen Kendrick

VP Of Clinical Initiatives & Quality at Texas Hospital Association

Karen Kendrick, RN, MSN, is an experienced healthcare professional with a robust background in clinical initiatives and quality improvement. Currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Initiatives & Quality at the Texas Hospital Association since June 2016, Karen has previously held positions such as Director of Quality and Performance Improvement at Lakeway Regional Medical Center and Transitional Leader, Consultant at HealthLinx®. Additional roles include Director of Home Health at Guadalue Regional Med Center and Director of Nursing Communications at Vangurd Health Systems. Karen’s career also encompasses significant leadership positions at Baptist Health System, where responsibilities included directing Medical & Bariatric Units and nursing quality projects, as well as serving as Director of Medical/Surgical Units at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. Karen holds a BS in Nursing Science from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership & Administration from Western Governors University.
