Luis R. has over 20 years of experience in the gas and oil industry, specializing in integrity management and corrosion control. Currently serving as an IMP Engineer at Texas Gas Service since August 2011, Luis R. contributes to the development of processes for organizing and archiving materials information for over 2,500 miles of transmission pipelines, enhancing risk management and regulatory compliance. Previous roles include Senior Technical Analysis IMP and Corrosion Control Specialist, where Luis R. managed cathodic protection systems and conducted training sessions while ensuring adherence to company standards. Earlier experience as a Crew Leader at North American Survey Corp. involved leading surveys on over 4,500 miles of pipelines and preparing final reports for major pipeline companies. Luis R. holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, awarded in 2019.
