Surafel Sintayehu, P.E., MSc, currently serves as the District Bridge Engineer Supervisor at the Texas Department of Transportation, having progressed through multiple engineering roles within the organization since February 2019. Prior experience includes working as a Field Engineer at ECS Limited and as a Graduate Student Assistant at Texas Tech University. Surafel's engineering career began with an internship at GEMSHU BEYENE CONSTRUCTION. Surafel holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from Addis Ababa University.
