Matthew Levitt is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in HR management, consulting, and education. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles since October 2018, Matthew has implemented significant improvements in employee communication and virtual onboarding processes, coordinated pandemic response efforts, and enhanced training programs. Previous roles include consulting for the Texas Association of School Boards, directing HR at the Texas School for the Deaf, and serving in various HR management positions across several Texas state agencies. Matthew holds an M.B.A. in Management/Marketing from Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Antioch College.
