Matt Thomas has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Matt started working as a Product Engineer at Grainger & Worrall in 2016 and then moved on to become a Project Engineer at HORIBA MIRA in 2017. At HORIBA MIRA, their responsibilities included project management, customer relations, risk assessment, and feasibility studies. In 2018, they joined Nissan Motor Corporation as a Customer Oriented Engineer, where they were involved in design verification, system performance validation, data analysis, and test planning. Matt Thomas then worked at Jankel as a Senior Test and Development Engineer, focusing on various testing and development activities. Currently, they are employed at Tevva Electric Trucks as a Lead Research Engineer.
Matt Thomas attended the University of the West of England from 2009 to 2014, where they pursued a degree in Motorsport Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. Matt also obtained a certification in NPL Measurement and Tolerancing from the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).
