Daffney Harris began their work experience in 2014 as a Teacher in the Johnson City School System. Daffney worked in this role until 2017. In 2017, they transitioned to TEVET as an Inside Sales Representative. In this role, they focused on providing excellent customer service, utilizing innovative systems, and increasing productivity in procurement processes. Daffney also demonstrated cost savings through timely KPI reporting and provided technical expertise and support to customers.

Daffney Harris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from East Tennessee State University in the years 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained their Master's of Education degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from the same university from 2007 to 2009.
