Stacia Yim has a long work history in the education and political sectors. Stacia began their career in 2002 as a Classroom Teacher (ESL) for Letter & Sound Academy. Stacia then moved to Orleans Parish School Board in 2003 as a Classroom Teacher (High School Social Studies), followed by CALCASIEU PARISH SCHOOL DISTRICT in 2005 in the same role. In 2007, they became a Classroom Teacher (High School Social Studies) for Mobile County Public School System. In 2015, they took on the role of Fitness Instructor for YMCA of South Alabama. Two years later, they became a Fitness Instructor for Mission Fitness Mobile. In 2019, they were a Distributed Organizing/Ballot Access for Yang2020. In 2020, they took on the role of Digital Organizing Director for the Democratic Party of Georgia. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Director of Sales - Policy & Advocacy for Prompt.io.

Stacia Yim attended Louisiana State University from 2001 onwards. No additional certifications have been listed.
