Scott Fortin (he/him) has a long history of work experience in software development. Scott began their career in 1995 as the CTO of BioTools Incorporated, where they were responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of software projects. In 2008, they moved to Pocket Kings as a Senior Software Developer, running a small remote development office and leading projects. In 2012, they co-founded Jawfish Games as the Principle Architect, designing and implementing the backend server architecture and game analytics. Most recently, in 2014, they became the Lead Software Developer at Prompt.io\u2122, a cloud-based, distributed service based architecture for messaging.
Scott Fortin attended the University of Alberta from 1991 to 1994 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
