Tony Scott has an extensive work experience in the field of contaminated land and environmental projects. Tony began their career at Coffey Partners International as an Engineering/Environmental Geologist and later became a Senior Engineering/Environmental Geologist. Tony then worked at Dames & Moore as an Environmental/Engineering Geologist before joining CMPS&F Environmental as the Principal and Manager of Contamination Assessment and Remediation. After that, they joined Egis Consulting Australia as a Principal Environmental Auditor and then Tetra Tech Coffey as a Senior Principal and Contaminated Sites Auditor. Tony also held leadership roles in various organizations, including being the Chair of the Sustainable Remediation Forum Australia & New Zealand and a Board Member, Vice President, and President of the Australasian Land and Groundwater Association.
Tony Scott completed their Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology at Macquarie University from 1981 to 1984. In addition to their degree, they obtained various certifications including Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Practitioner (ISAP) from the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) in September 2018, EIANZ Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) and EIANZ Certified Environmental Practitioner - Site Contamination Specialist (CEnvP - SC) from the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) in 2015, Site Contamination Auditor from SA EPA in 2009, Lead Auditor in Environmental Management Systems Auditor Scheme from Exemplar Global, Inc. in March 2005, Accredited Site Auditor from NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) in July 1998, and Accredited Site Auditor from WA Department of Water Environmental Regulation in December 2006.
