Ihor Karpenko has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ihor started their career in 2006 as an Account Manager at Limited Liability Company "AS Capital management." From 2009 to 2010, Ihor worked as an accountant, layout designer, and site promoter for Entrepreneur "Budko S.V." Ihor then gained experience as an accountant at Kharkiv Regional Clinical Trauma Hospital from 2010 to 2012. Ihor later joined the Emergency Rescue Team of the Main Department of State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, where they served as an accountant from 2012 to 2015. Ihor moved up in the organization and became the Deputy Chief of the Financial Department from 2015 to 2017. Following that, Ihor worked as the Chief Accountant at the Emergency Rescue Team of the Main Department of State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine in Kharkiv region from 2017 to 2018. Ihor then transitioned to a role as a General Accountant at the Group of Companies "Factor" for a few months in 2018. From 2018 to 2021, Ihor served as the Deputy Chief at Private company "Galaktika." Currently, they hold the position of a Junior QA engineer at TestFort, where they started in August 2021 and was later promoted to a Junior QA Automation engineer in February 2023.

Ihor Karpenko obtained a Master's degree in Accounting and Auditing from Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006. In 2021, they attended Hillel IT School for a course in QA manual, although they did not obtain a degree. Additionally, in 2016, Ihor attended Spalah IT School for a course in PHP, MySQL, and AJAX. From 2011 to 2016, they attended City School of Arts, specializing in drums and percussions. In terms of additional certifications, Ihor obtained the ISTQB® Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in July 2022.
