Julie Macey-Hewitt has a long and varied career. Julie has been in the workforce since 2005, when they started as a Shop Proprietor while self-employed. In 2012, they became an Abuse Counsellor at HOPE. In 2014, they joined Pinnacle People as a Business Plan Assessor and an Enterprise Coach, helping individuals turn their business idea into a reality. Julie also worked as a Family Coach, working with individuals and families to improve their confidence, finances, mental health, physical health, employability, and more. In 2015, they started their own business, JAM Enterprise Solutions, as a Proprietor. In 2017, they became the Director at The Rainbow Centre. In 2018, they became the CEO at AGE UK SCARBOROUGH & DISTRICT, and in 2021, they became the Head of Production Operations at TestCard.com.
Julie Macey-Hewitt has a diverse educational background. Julie attended Mountbatten Secondary School from 1993 to 1998, where they earned 12 GCSEs with grades A-C. From 1999 to 2001, they attended Peter Symond's Sixth Form College, where they earned A Levels in French, Sociology, and Psychology. From 2007 to 2011, they attended The Open University and earned a Foundation degree in Open Languages. From 2011 to 2013, they attended the University of Hull and earned a Foundation degree in Theory and Practice of Counselling. Finally, from 2017 to 2019, they attended the University of Essex and earned an MSc in Business and Management.
