Robby Thompson has worked in the software engineering industry since 2007. In 2007, they began their career as an Assistant Network Administrator at Loeb Electric Company. In 2012, they moved on to become an Associate at Chase, providing object-oriented software design. In 2015, they became an Application Developer at CareWorks Tech, providing guidance in modern software engineering paradigms and processes. In 2016, they moved on to become a Specialist and then a Senior Application Developer at Nationwide. In 2018, they became a Software Engineer at ScriptDrop, working on a full stack application servicing internal operations users and external pharmacy and courier partners. In 2019, they became a Senior Software Engineer at CoverMyMeds, working on integrations with EMR/EHRs. Finally, in 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Consultant at Test Double.

Robby Thompson attended Columbus State Community College from 2006 to 2009. Robby then went on to The Ohio State University, where they earned a B.S.E in Computer Science in 2011. Robby also holds certifications from CompTIA in Network+ (obtained in May 2006) and A+ (obtained in January 2005).
