Daniel Huss has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. In 2014, they were a Recreation Cashier at G.H. Dawe Community Centre, City of Red Deer. In 2015, they were a Customer Service Leader 1 and Research Coordinator at City of Red Deer. In 2016, they worked as a Writing Skills Tutor and Research Assistant at Red Deer College. In 2017, they were an Administrative Support at the Government of Alberta in the Ministry of Advanced Education. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at Pixeltree Inc as a Junior Web Developer and Full Stack Developer - Head of Mentorship, at Lighthouse Labs as a Web Development Mentor and Community Manager, and at Advertiise as a Junior Web Developer. Currently, they are a Senior Software Consultant at Test Double.

Daniel Huss attended the University of Calgary from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies. In 2020, they obtained a Diploma in Web Development from Lighthouse Labs.
