In 2008, Richard became an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT), followed by obtaining certification as an Apple Certified iOS Technician in 2011. In 2015, they became a Vend Expert. Richard obtained several certifications in the field of IT security, including being certified as a Sophos Certified Engineer, Sophos Certified Sales Consultant, Sophos Certified Architect, and Sophos Certified Technician in 2017 and 2017. Richard also received certifications from Jamf as a Jamf Certified JSS Administrator, Jamf 200 Certified Tech, and Jamf 300 Certified Admin in 2017 and 2017. Furthermore, Richard obtained an Apple Certified Support Professional 10.14 (ACSP) certification in 2019. Most recently, they obtained certifications in various areas, such as Proofpoint Protection Server (Level 2 and Level 3), Proofpoint Accredited Channel Sales Professional, Email Fraud Defense (Level 1), Proofpoint Accredited Channel Sales Engineer, Proofpoint Email Protection (Level 1), and Proofpoint Information Protection Course (Level 1) between 2019 and 2021.
