Somnath Baishya serves as the Chief People Officer for Global Business Solutions and Tesco India at Tesco since April 2021, and also holds a position on the Advisory Board of HireSure.ai since November 2020. Prior experiences include leadership roles such as Director and Head of People & Places at Intuit, Director and Head of HR at Adobe India, and HR Director roles at Nokia India. Somnath's career started at Infosys, where various HR leadership positions were held, and earlier experience includes a senior HR role at Tata Motors. Somnath is currently pursuing an Executive PhD in Policy & Strategic Management at the Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur, with a strong educational background in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
