Richard Webb currently serves as the Product Risk and Regulation Manager at Tesco PLC since December 2015, where responsibilities include setting and implementing technical and science-based policies for non-food products and providing clear guidance on science and regulatory issues to technical teams and suppliers. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of Trading Standards & Compliance Manager at Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc from January 2011 to December 2015. Richard also gained experience as a Principal Advisor at Bodycote/Exova from 2005 to January 2011 and at Lawlabs from 1999 to 2005. Earlier in Richard's career, a role as Principal Trading Standards Officer was held at Birmingham City Council from 1993 to 1999. Richard is also the Chair of the EuroCommerce Non-food Committee, representing Tesco in external scientific and regulatory discussions.
