Satyan Raina is an experienced technology professional currently serving as an SDE3 at Tesco Bengaluru since May 2021, focusing on building a new product lifecycle management platform for Tesco's online retail business. Prior to this role, Satyan co-founded a stealth startup, where design and architecture of the alpha version for a pre-launch SaaS product were accomplished along with creating a technical roadmap. Satyan held the position of Vice President of Technology at AQR Capital Management and at MSCI Inc., contributing significantly to software scalability and performance in their portfolio implementation engineering and performance attribution teams. Earlier experience includes a senior software engineering role at Play Games24x7 Private Limited, where ownership of game engine applications was established, and a technological development role at Morgan Stanley, enhancing trade confirmation applications for post-trade processing. Educational credentials include a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Shivaji University.
