Frank Heine has extensive experience in the field of laser communication technology, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Tesat Spacecom since October 1997, where leadership of the System Engineering Department for Laser Communication Terminals is the primary responsibility. Previously, Frank held the roles of System Engineer and Chief Scientist, overseeing the development of the "TAU" Laser Communication Terminal and managing space laser development projects. Frank completed a PhD in Laser Physics at the University of Hamburg between 1989 and 1995, further solidifying expertise in the domain.
