Kitt Payn is an accomplished professional in the field of forestry and genetics, currently serving as Vice President Tree R&D at Terviva since August 2021, after previously holding the position of Senior Director Tree R&D. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Professor and Director of the NCSU Cooperative Tree Improvement Program at North Carolina State University from November 2018 to August 2021. Additionally, Kitt Payn spent a decade at Mondi Group, progressing through roles such as Program Leader in Tree Improvement Technology and Forest Biotechnology, and Head Breeder for the Pine Program. Kitt Payn holds a Ph.D. in Forestry and Genetics from North Carolina State University, obtained between 2003 and 2008.
