Acting DCE ÅŒritetanga Learner Success at Tertiary Education Commission

Morgan Healey, PhD, possesses extensive experience in leadership and research within the education and health sectors. Currently serving as Acting DCE ÅŒritetanga Learner Success at the Tertiary Education Commission since August 2017, key responsibilities include designing innovative reporting approaches and training initiatives for the tertiary sector. Previous roles include Manager of Sector Leadership at Health Leads, where Morgan coordinated efforts to address social determinants of health, and Researcher for the Women's Human Rights Education Institute, contributing to significant United Nations reports. Following a tenure as President of the Abortion Law Reform Association of New Zealand, Morgan has consistently demonstrated advocacy skills and strategic planning capabilities throughout various organizational leadership roles. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Sociology, Gender and Women's Studies from the University of Limerick, complemented by a Master's from University College Cork and a Bachelor's from Connecticut College.
