Lydia Cheng is an accomplished Associate Engineer at Terray Therapeutics, where responsibilities include enhancing performance, throughput, and quality of platform processes since May 2021. Previously, Lydia served as a Senior Research Associate and Team Lead, focusing on streamlining the synthesis of millions of potential drug candidates for Terray's drug discovery pipeline. Prior experience includes a role as a Coatings R&D Engineering Intern at NBD Nanotechnologies, where optimization of copolymer additive synthesis was achieved, and as a Paint Process Engineering Specialist at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, contributing to significant cost savings in the Lexus Paint division. Additionally, Lydia interned at IPEX Group of Companies, developing PVC formulations, and served as a Carbon Nanotechnology Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where research concentrated on graphene-polymer composites. Lydia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2021.
