Sandeep Mohan is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at TerraPower LLC, specializing in the mechanical design of sodium fast reactor components since 2021. Prior to this role, Sandeep served as a Mechanical Engineer at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory, focusing on the design of nuclear propulsion systems from November 2011 to October 2019. Earlier career experience includes a position as Project Engineer at Weir Flow Control, where Sandeep designed vertical turbine pumps, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Jacobs Engineering, contributing to the petrochemical industry by enhancing refinery efficiency and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Sandeep holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
