Damien Kuhn

Vice President of Forestry at Terraformation

Damien Kuhn has extensive work experience in the field of forestry and sustainable development. Damien is currently the Vice President of Forestry at Terraformation, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, Damien held various roles at Kinomé, including Chief Operating Officer and Head of Climate, Biodiversity, and Sustainable Agriculture. At Kinomé, they focused on strategy and business development, team management, and overseeing forestry projects in several countries. Damien also worked as a Forest & Climate international Expert at UNDP, where they designed programs for rural development, climate change, and agriculture & forestry. Damien has experience in project management, carbon finance, and sustainable agriculture. Damien's career also includes co-founding a company called AgroTour & EchoWay.

Damien Kuhn has a strong educational background in various fields. Damien pursued a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Life Science from Institut national polytechnique de Lorraine from 2003 to 2006. After completing their undergraduate studies, Damien went on to obtain a Master's degree in Economics in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University & Research, where they studied from 2006 to 2007. Following this, they attended Ecole nationale du Génie rural, des Eaux et des Forêts, from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a degree in Management and Administration in environmental sciences and policies known as Ingénieur du GREF.

Damien further enhanced their educational qualifications by studying at AgroParisTech in the year 2008 to 2009, where they pursued an MPhil degree in Economics. Additionally, Damien obtained a certification in Master pour le Développement du Leadership Ethique from Recherches & Evolution in September 2010, showcasing their commitment to developing ethical leadership skills. Overall, Damien Kuhn has built a strong education foundation through their diverse experiences in environmental sciences, economics, and agronomy.
