Tanya Iyer currently serves as a Senior Associate at TerraCycle, having joined in April 2022 after previously holding the position of Associate Account Manager for Brand Partnerships. Prior to this role, Tanya co-organized the Emergency Foodbank at the University of Toronto, addressing food insecurity among vulnerable post-secondary students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Tanya is also the founder and Head of Partnerships for the Food Mission under the Trek for Teens Foundation, which focuses on redirecting food waste to shelters and advocating for food security among at-risk youth. Previous experience includes managing in-kind donations for the Trek for Teens Foundation in Toronto, working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Mack Lab, and serving as a Copy Editor for a student-run newspaper. Tanya holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science and Psychology from the University of Toronto and completed the International Baccalaureate Programme for Higher Secondary Schooling.
