Ellen O'Connell is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the non-profit sector. Ellen has held notable positions including Interim CEO at Farm Sanctuary, a role that involved managing a $17 million organization with 115 employees, and Chief Executive Officer at Farm Sanctuary, advocating for animals and environmental sustainability. Other significant roles include Executive Director at Tusk USA, Vice President at the International Rescue Committee, and Associate Executive Director, Treasurer, and CFO at Covenant House New York. Ellen's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and multiple advanced degrees, including an MPA in International Relations from New York University and an MA in Cultural Anthropology from The New School for Social Research.
