Valerio Catalano has over a decade of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Head of Market Operation at Terna SpA since May 2012. In this role, Valerio leads the development and operation of the Italian ancillary service market, managing a significant budget while overseeing a team of 35. Previous positions include Head of Budget and Market Control, Head of Process and Studies, and Senior Technical Analyst, where Valerio contributed to market design and operational planning. Valerio also has academic credentials from several esteemed institutions and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Luiss Business School.
