Alex Western has a significant amount of experience in various roles and sectors. Alex currently works as the Managing Director of Software Private Equity at Terminus Capital Partners, where they focus on making majority investments in B2B software companies. Alex is actively involved with several companies and holds board roles in Voxco, Delta Data, and Katabat.

Prior to their current position, Alex served as the Managing Director of Enterprise Software Corporate Development at Trilogy, a leading enterprise software company. During their time at Trilogy, they played a key role in delivering B2B software products to corporate customers worldwide.

Before joining Trilogy, Alex worked as an Analyst at GMT Capital, a long/short hedge fund with $5 billion in assets under management. Alex primarily focused on researching and monitoring public equity investments in the software and healthcare sectors.

Alex also has experience as an Associate at both McKinsey & Company and Audax Group. During their time at McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm, they advised clients on strategic issues including competitive positioning and corporate finance. At Audax Group, a generalist private equity firm, Alex evaluated and executed middle-market LBOs in the software, healthcare, and industrial sectors.

Alex Western has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with honors from Harvard Business School, earned from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, Alex obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics with honors from Harvard University, completed from 2007 to 2010.
