Flavio Portela Valenzuela has been a software engineer since 2013. Flavio began their career as a Software Developer at Adventa, working with PHP 5 and Zend Framework 2 and occasionally playing the front-end role using Bootstrap. Flavio then moved on to work as a Web Developer at maniak experiencial, building apps and websites for different customers using PHP with the Laravel Framework and Python with Django. In 2015, they began working as a Software Developer at IBM, where they were part of a security team creating tools to automate audits. Flavio then moved to Tiempo Development Mexico, working as a Software Engineer with self-directed teams and agile methodologies. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at The Bouqs Company, where they were in charge of developing and maintaining the UI for on-boarding new customers and the dashboard to handle the subscriptions. Flavio also worked on the API and back-end services that process payments, sending notifications and update the deliveries' status. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at NOM [This Is NOM], where they were in charge of building the dashboard's front-end from scratch using React. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Credijusto.com and is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Terminal and a Software Engineer at Playbook.

Flavio Portela Valenzuela obtained a Software Engineer degree in Information Technology from TecMilenio from 2009 to 2015. Flavio then attended Free Code Camp from 2015 to 2016 to earn a Full Stack Web Development degree in Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Buzan Mind Map from Think Buzan - Licenced Instructor iMindMap, E-leadership plus from e-leadership plus, and Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School.
