Shiming Zhang is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong since November 2020, where Shiming leads the WISE Lab. Additionally, Shiming is affiliated with the Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation, focusing on medical biosensors and personalized wearables. Prior experience includes a position as a Postdoc Group Leader at the University of California, Los Angeles from January 2018 to November 2020, specializing in organic iontronic and bioelectronic devices for biomedical wearables. Shiming completed a PhD in Organic Bioelectronics at Université de Montréal, earning the Best Thesis Award and graduating with a perfect GPA of 4.0. Earlier education includes receiving both BEng and MEng degrees with the Highest Honor in Electronic Engineering from Jilin University.
