Guillermo Jimenez-Ortiz Gormaz's work experience begins in 2004, where they worked as an Ingeniero de pruebas (QA Engineer) at Meta4. During this time, they focused on maintaining and improving an internal development for test plan management.
In 2006, they joined TQS-ISC as an Analista Programador (Programmer Analyst), working on a project for the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The project involved developing a web application for student enrollment and chip card management.
In 2008, Guillermo became a Game Designer at Zed, where they contributed to projects such as Planet 51 Online, Paradise Club, Fitness City, TV Studio Boss, and NBA Spin.
From 2012 to 2017, they served as a Senior Game Designer at Pyro Mobile Games, working on projects such as Super Soccer Club, Commandos Mobile, and Evolution Planet.
In 2019, Guillermo joined FAKTO Studios as a Senior Technical Game Designer.
Since 2015, they have been involved with U-tad, initially as a Profesor (Professor) and later as the Director del Master de Diseño de videojuegos (Master of Game Design Director). In their director role, they were responsible for curriculum planning, managing the teaching team, and overseeing multidisciplinary development teams for final projects.
Currently, Guillermo is working at Tequila Works as a Senior Technical and Game Designer, with a previous role as the Lead Game Designer.
Guillermo Jimenez-Ortiz Gormaz completed their bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas between 2001 and 2005. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Video Game Development at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2008 to 2009.
