Matthew Combs has a diverse and extensive work experience. Matthew co-founded and served as the Director of Project Safehouse (Uganda), an organization aimed at supporting individuals affected by conflict and violence. Matthew also founded and led YourCause, a company that provided corporate CSR engagement platforms before it was acquired by Blackbaud. At Blackbaud, Matthew served as the Vice President, focusing on product growth and development. Matthew was also the Strategic Advisor for OfColor, where they helped support and mentor entrepreneurs driving positive impact. Additionally, Matthew held various roles in marketing technology companies, including Marketing Technology Solutions and Nubella. Matthew began their career at Sapient as a Project Manager. Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated a passion for making a difference and supporting social causes.

Matthew Combs' education history includes attending Cornell University from 1996 to 1999, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agricultural Resources & Managerial Economics (ARME). Prior to that, they attended State University of New York at Oswego from 1995 to 1996, studying Business Administration and Management, General. In 1994, they participated in a Rotary International Exchange Student program in Recife, Brazil. Matthew completed their high school education at Lansing High School from 1990 to 1994. Recently, in 2020 and 2021, they pursued a Certificate Program in Diversity and Inclusion at Cornell University.
