Riley Gervais is a Human Factors and User Experience Engineer at Tensentric, a Boulder-based engineering firm that specializes in medical device and in-vitro diagnostic system design, development and manufacturing. Prior to this role, they were a Systems Engineering Intern at Tensentric and a Biomedical Engineering Intern at Medtronic in 2018.
Riley Gervais attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering. In 2018, they participated in a study abroad program at University College Dublin, taking Chemical and Biological Engineering courses. In November 2019, they obtained a certification in Human Factors and Medical Devices from CfPA - The Center for Professional Advancement. Riley is also currently working towards a certification in Interaction Design from the Nielsen Norman Group, which is expected to be obtained in January 2022.
