Melody Pierro

Mechanical Engineer at Tensentric

Melody Pierro has held various roles in the engineering field since 2017. In 2017, they were a Work Leader at Colorado State University, where they worked as an hourly worker and barista at Academic Village. In 2019, they held two Learning Assistant roles at Colorado State University, one for Thermodynamics and one for Life 102. Melody also held an Engineering Intern role at Applied Medical, where they designed and constructed devices that assisted with accelerating the cleaning process of heavy machinery. In 2020, they were a Laboratory Technician at Vyaire Medical, where they tested products and analyzed data, as well as organized the lab. In 2021, they were an Engineer Intern at XUV Lasers, where they created 3D models of complex vacuum chambers using SolidWorks and collaborated with the Los Alamos National Lab to customize a target chamber. Currently, Melody is a Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineering Associate at Tensentric.

Melody Pierro is currently enrolled in a dual degree program at Colorado State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in both Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, as well as a minor in Mathematics. Melody has also obtained a certification from Dassault Systèmes in SolidWorks, Mechanical Design, at the Associate's level, which they obtained in January 2020.
