Garrett Fountain has extensive work experience in the engineering field. From July 1999 to September 2014, they worked at Southern California Soil & Testing as a Principal Engineer/Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for managing various engineering projects. Since October 2014, they have been working at Tensar International as the West Area Engineer. Their main responsibilities include designing and overseeing geogrid stabilized pavement sections and retaining wall systems using Tensar's innovative products. Additionally, they provide assistance to agencies and consulting engineers in implementing ground, pavement, and retaining wall solutions.

Garrett Fountain completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical Emphasis at the University of Arizona, from 1990 to 1999.
