Gil Baca currently serves as an Education Counselor for the US Army Transition Assistance Program, where responsibilities include educating transitioning veterans about military educational benefits and assisting in their educational planning. Previously, Gil worked as a U.S. Dept of Labor TAP Facilitator at Serco, focusing on providing transitioning veterans with the skills and knowledge needed to secure civilian employment. Gil's military career includes serving as a Talent Manager-Career Counselor, where responsibilities involved advising on retention policies and managing workforce transition programs, along with roles as a Clinical Practice Manager and Combat Medic. Gil holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership with a focus on HR Development from Waldorf University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Columbia Southern University.
