John Garcia

Head Of Media Business Development at Tennis Australia

John Garcia has a diverse work experience in the media industry. John started their career as a Programming Executive Internship at Eurosport in 2008. John then worked as a TV Rights Sales Executive from April 2010 to August 2012. John was promoted to the position of TV Rights Sales Manager from September 2012 to March 2014, where they handled media rights sales and distribution to major global broadcasters for various sporting events. In April 2014, they joined Tennis Australia as a Senior Media Rights Manager, responsible for managing media rights for tennis tournaments. John was later promoted to Head of Media Business Development in May 2019 at Tennis Australia.

John Garcia completed a Master of Science (MSc) in International Business at Macquarie University in 2009. Prior to that, they earned a MASTER 2 degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from OMNES Education in 2008. In 2007, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business for a Summer Session in Microeconomics Analysis for Business Decisions. John also holds a 2-year University Degree in Economics from Classe Préparatoire ENS Cachan, obtained from Université Bordeaux IV & Lycée Gustave Eiffel in 2005.
