Thomas Faust has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Thomas started their career in 1999 as a Sales Manager Europe at Beijing West Industries. After that, they joined Federal Mogul in 2008 as Global Sales Director LV Friction, and later became the Vice President Global Sales; Braking in 2018. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Tenneco as the Executive Director Sales & Program Management and VP Global CBU Daimler.

Thomas Faust completed their education history as follows:

- From 2002 to 2003, they attended the University of Applied Sciences where they obtained an MBA degree in Executive MBA.

- Between 1999 and 2001, they studied at Hochschule Mainz - University of Applied Sciences, earning a degree in Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. in the field of Wirtschaftswissenschaften.

- From 1987 to 1992, they completed their undergraduate studies at Fachhochschule Rheinland-Pfalz, receiving a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Verfahrenstechnik.
