Tom Rams has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tom is currently working as the Director of Internal Audit at Tennant Company since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Director of SOX and Internal Audit at 8x8 from 2022 to 2023, and as the Director of SOX and Internal Audit from 2021 to 2022. Before joining 8x8, Tom worked at PwC from 2010 to 2021 in various roles, including Director, Manager, Senior Associate, and Associate. Tom also gained international experience at PwC Switzerland as a Manager from 2015 to 2017. Tom's earlier career includes roles as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Carlson School of Management from 2009 to 2010, and internships at PwC in 2009 and 2008. Additionally, they served as the Concessions Manager at Vernon Hills Family Aquatic Center from 2003 to 2007 and as a Medical Records Assistant at Lake Forest Pediatric Associates, Ltd. from 2005 to 2006.

Tom Rams completed their Bachelor of Science in Business (BSB) with a focus on Accounting and Management Information Systems at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from 2005 to 2010. In 2007, they also studied Spanish, Economics, and Business at La Fundación José Ortega y Gasset for a brief period. Tom Rams completed their high school education at Vernon Hills High School from 2001 to 2005. Tom has obtained several additional certifications, including the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Minnesota, Board of Accountancy in 2011, and the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA in 2014. Tom has also received certifications in Audit Management, Workiva Controls Management, Workiva Platform, Human-Centered Design from PwC, and Digital Acumen.
