Sofie Woge has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and positions. Sofie is the Founder and CEO of Tendo AB, a company that has developed a revolutionary assistive technology for human-robot interaction. Through Tendo AB, they designed and created a soft robotic "glove" that improves the quality of life for those with age or disability-related limitations.
In addition to their work at Tendo AB, Sofie Woge has also served on the Board of Directors at Ideon Innovation, a company focused on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Sofie was an Entrepreneur and Designer at VentureLab's incubator, where they developed their upcoming company and product, Tendo.
Furthermore, Sofie Woge completed their Master's thesis in collaboration with NASA Houston for the School of Industrial Design in Lund. Sofie'sthesis focused on rehabilitation technology and involved developing a product.
Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Sofie Woge worked as a Studiecoach at My Academy, where they helped students strengthen their knowledge in areas like science, math, and physics. Sofie also worked as a Design Engineer at Engineers Without Borders, where they volunteered part-time to develop solutions for a coffee factory in Tanzania.
Sofie Woge has experience in interior design and product development as well. Sofie worked as an Interior Designer for CSIC, China-Scandinavia (Tianjin) Innovation Development Center, where they worked on designing a Nordic science park. Sofie also completed an internship at Scalae, part of the Altran Group.
Additionally, Sofie Woge taught as a Teacher at Lund University and was responsible for lecturing on Alias Automotive and Maxwell Studio for students in the technical design and mechanical engineering program.
Before their professional career took off, Sofie Woge worked as a Receptionist at Djursjukhuset Blå Stjärnan.
Sofie Woge completed their education in a chronological sequence. Starting from 2006 to 2009, they attended Hässleholms Tekniska Skola, where they pursued a degree program called Teknikprogrammet with a focus on Form och design. Following this, they enrolled at Chalmers University of Technology in 2010 and graduated in 2013 with a degree in Designingenjör specializing in Produktutveckling. Lastly, from 2013 to 2016, Sofie Woge pursued their Master's degree in Industrial Design with a concentration in Produktdesign at Lunds tekniska högskola.
