Robert Wörlund

Robert Walatka is a Predoctoral Fellow at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, focusing on behavioral science and energy policy. Current research projects include a solar adoption survey with the Department of Energy and enhancing energy cost disclosures for water heaters. Previously, Robert served as a Research Assistant at the Energy Policy Institute, specializing in the salience of energy costs in consumer behavior. Robert gained international experience as a Research Intern with Save the Children International, evaluating behavioral interventions in Southeast Asia, and contributed to econometric analyses at the Behavioral Insights and Parenting Lab at the University of Chicago. Earlier roles include financial analysis at KPMG, co-founding Husky Global Affairs at the University of Washington, and various internships in financial advisory and corporate settings. Robert holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Washington.
